This week in new releases brings us a few big movies from 2012 includign Skyfall, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and The Sessions.
Skyfall- The big new release this week is Skyfall. Considered by some as one of the best James Bond movies in a long time. This is Daniel Craigs third time playing Bond and it is directed by Academy Awards winner Sam Mendes.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower – Based on the book of the same name, the movie got lots of good reviews and is Emma Watsons first post Harry Potter movie.
The Man with the Iron Fists – A martial arts movie directed by RZA with a screenplay by Eli Roth.
The Sessions – A great move from last year. Helen Hunt is nominated for Best Actress and John Hawkes should have been nominated for Best Actor.
Silent Hill: Revelation – A sequel to the horror movie based on a video game.
Bully – One of the most talked about documentaries of last year is finally making its way to Blu-Ray.
Robot and Frank – A small movie that got some good reviews.
Dangerous Liaisons – Takes the classic novel and moves it to 1930’s Shanghai
Teddy Bear – A documentary about a body builder looking for love.
Rise of the Zombies – Staring Danny Trejo that’s really all you need to know about this movie.
Mimesis – didn’t realize this was getting a direct to video release. Cool premise for a movie. What if you were trapped in one of your favorite horror movies. Hope the movie can be as cool as it sounds.
